darkCollections

Introduction

darkCollections is a set of generics based collection classes for handling lists, dictionaries and stacks. This library is simpler than many other collections libraries available for object pascal, but it is steadily growing. It is used just about everywhere through-out the darkLibs collection where lists and stacks are needed, it’s already very flexible and useful.

Releases

There is currently only a single, beta release of this libary.
This is a small and relatively self-contained library, such that changes aren’t frequently applied.
Before moving from beta to release, several samples need to be added to the library.

The following features are marked for a future version, with no solid release date or road-map at this time:

  • IPipe<T> interface and implementation for pipe collections.
  • Sort method for existing collections.

Getting the source code.

As with all of our open source libraries, the source code can be obtained as a stand-alone library with dependencies included as a sub-directory, or it may be obtained as part of the parent collection. If you’d like to download the entire collection, see darkLibs.

The following link is to download the stand-alone library with dependencies.

If you are unfamiliar with Subversion, please see our subversion instructions page here: Introduction to Subversion

Library Installation

In general, our libraries do not require any special installation, however, it is beneficial to understand how our projects are structured in order to make the best use of them. If you have not already done so, please read our detailed installation instructions here: Open Source Library Installation
